Rethink Energy’s new hydrogen index has risen by 14.32% in its first week of the year. Of the 29 included companies, which will be detailed in upcoming issues, Plug Power has been the largest mover, rising 32.06% off the back of a $1.5 billion investment from the SK Group. Through a deal agreed on Wednesday, the pair agreed to form a joint venture company in South Korea to support the rapidly growing Asian market for green hydrogen.
