When Swedish media transport specialist Net Insight received a hefty $25.2m 5G synchronization contract from Türk Telekom late last year, a few jaws hit the ground. The deal for GPS-independent time synchronization software completely eclipsed the company’s previous deals, which rarely strayed above the $3m mark.
