The UK’s Climate Change Committee (CCC) has set out the world’s most comprehensive decarbonization roadmap to date. In no less than 1,000 pages of material, the advisory body has set out a range of year-by-year steps for the country to hit its legally binding mandate to reach net zero emissions by 2050. The plan, which has been sent to the government with a plea for action, has also been labelled as conservative by those who wrote it.
