Liberty Global-owned UPC launched Horizon Go in the Czech Republic in November 2014, followed by Slovakia in July 2015. Liberty Global agreed in May 2018 to sell its Czech operations to Vodafone, along with its businesses in Romania, Hungary and Germany, although the deal has stalled as of writing.   Operations and figures: UPC closed out Q3 2018 with 86,700 fewer video subscribers in the Czech Republic than a year earlier, falling to 536,800 in total, of which 364,200 are now on the enhanced offering. In Slovakia, UPC has just 168,500 video subscribers, losing 71,600 since Q3 2017, with 141,400 on the enhanced tier. UPC has 503,300 internet subscribers in the Czech Republic and 135,200 in Slovakia, both increasing marginally.…
