Donald Trump signed a whopping $2 trillion into an economic stimulus package for the US on Friday, but has ignored those who had urged for support in the renewables sector. Meanwhile in Europe, the idea of a ‘green’ package remains on the table, and elsewhere there are signs that the renewable sector could come out of the pandemic better off than its fossil fuel counterpart.
