Influential US liberal think tank, the Center for American Progress, has partnered with Rewiring America to offer the Biden Administration a gift-wrapped set of policies to shift home heat and cooling from fossil fuels to renewables. The price tag for this piece of legislation would be $265 billion over ten years and is made up with a clear list of subsidies, some aimed specifically at low income families, for each step in the electrification process for heat and cooling.
