Videofutur (France)

The Videofutur VoD service is owned by French video software supplier Netgem. It was founded in 1982 as a video game store, and first launched a VoD service in 2009, before being taken over by Netgem in 2013. The Videofutur of today is more focused on selling fiber internet access, through partnerships with major operators.   Operations and figures: Netgem could not provide us with any subscriber figures for Videofutur, but has claimed numbers are healthy. Most recent figures put it at 100,000 subscribers, as of September 2015. The Videofutur parent company saw turnover decline 32% in 2018 to €41.8 million.
