Vodafone’s Spanish arm is the third-placed MNO in the country, after Telefonica and Orange. It operates pay TV under Vodafone One TV and its OTT video offering is built around selling Ono TV Online. Operations and figures: Spanish revenue for the quarter ended July 2019 was €1.08 billion, down 9.3% from the previous year, dented by Vodafone’s decision not to renew soccer rights. Vodafone lost 24,000 TV subscribers in Spain during Q2 2019, declining to a base of 1.29 million. There are 3.17 million broadband customers in Spain, a loss of 49,000 subs in the last quarter, while the mobile footprint declined by 158,000 to 13.5 million.
