Last week, Rethink Energy published its inaugural forecast for hydrogen transport in Europe, outlining a gargantuan growth for fuel cell vehicles across the bloc over the coming decades. This week another wave of activity has reaffirmed our expectations that 2020 will be the year that the industry starts to put its foot on the gas. In our report, entitled Europe goes all in on hydrogen for the transport economy the first subsector to take off is fuel cell buses, driven by local initiatives to decarbonize public transport.
