Sprint is rolling out one of the lowest cost tablets in the US, the 7-inch ZTE Optik, which comes for $100 with two-year contract. The device runs Android 3.2 and supports CDMA as well as Wi-Fi. It runs on a 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor and comes with 1Gbyte of RAM and 16Gbytes of storage. It is pre-loaded with the Swype typing application, Sprint TV and a host of Google apps.
