Cox Communications is a US privately owned subsidiary of Cox Enterprises offering cable TV and broadband. Its TV Everywhere app launched in 2011, as part of a streaming strategy almost entirely based on copying Comcast, the most recent move being to offer Flex streaming devices. Operations and figures: Cox is a privately owned company, but does like to dish out a fact sheet every once in a while. It reported revenues of $12.6 billion in 2020, from a total base of approximately 6.5 million subscribers.
