Following the mega-merger between T-Mobile US and Sprint, which completed in April 2020, a revamped TVision was launched some two years behind schedule—based on Android TV and Layer3 TV technology. Once TVision finds its feet and expands from an exclusive TMO wireless service to general availability, it should eventually phase out the aging Sprint TV app. Operations and figures: T-Mobile US does not break out subscriber figures for its video services, but with a wireless subscriber base in excess of 100 million, it doesn’t need to.
