After being in development for the past few months, IBM and Samsung have revealed the proof of concept for Autonomous Decentralized Peer-to-Peer Telemetry (ADEPT). The system uses the blockchain technology used in the cryptocurrency bitcoin to manage the identity and transactions of the billions of devices forecast to comprise the IoT.
