Last month, Orange France was finally permitted last month to offer a full quad play bundle by its local regulator and has come out with a series of offers which include all four services – cellular voice, fixed voice, broadband and TV – which start as low as €54.90 a month. The change to the ruling in France could easily change the landscape there, as Orange is a dominant supplier in both fixed and mobile and has made huge investments into both TV infrastructure and content recently, including control of French soccer games. If the quad play bundles drag customers back to Orange from rivals then it is likely to become a blueprint for introducing these four-way bundles around Europe.…
