Cell signal boosters may be a rather basic solution to poor indoor wireless performance, with the array of small cells and other options available, but they are still used by many customers. One of the largest suppliers in the US, Wilson Electronics, has acquired smaller competitor zBoost, just as the FCC brings in stricter new rules to govern the devices. Wilson says it is consolidating its US presence and will use the improved scale to expand abroad too.
