The British Government will seek to create a new Office for Environmental Protection (OEP), as part of a ‘groundbreaking’ environmental bill to shape a green post-Brexit Britain. However, debate will be had over how objective of effective a government-funded organization can be. The environmental bill, which has been in the pipeline for nearly 6 months, will be the first of its kind since 1995 and has been long awaited by environmentalists.
