Total Quadran has a deal with Next2Sun GmbH to deploy bifacial solar panels in France – where the panels are installed vertically like fences, and hardly reduce farm land at all. This is especially effective when a region uses more energy at dawn and dusk. The technology was originally developed in Germany and this is a license to take it into France.
