The results are in on another crushing quarter for the oil majors. With oil demand still depressed through the Covid-19 pandemic, profits have been few and far between. As outlooks vary, the staunch divide between those on either side of the Atlantic is becoming ever more apparent. While inner workings of the oil majors may be starting to diverge, it’s hard to say that any are performing particularly ‘well’ in the current climate.
