The federal government of Australia has opened its consultation on the country’s national battery strategy on February 3rd, and it will conclude a month later to inform the federal government’s future policy aspirations. Australia’s importance in the battery raw materials market is difficult to understate, beneath the vast swathes of nothingness and deadly animals are many of the resources needed for a successful energy transition.
