Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP), a Danish renewable energy project developer and fund manager, has revealed plans to build a 2GW offshore wind farm called Nortada off Portugal’s Atlantic coast. Two weeks prior, the Portuguese Government had launched a public hearing regarding proposals for the delimitation of areas off the country’s Atlantic coast where wind farms can be built, with a 10GW target of offshore wind capacity by 2030 in mind.
