Elcora Advanced Materials Corp has announced a partnership with Mincape to jointly develop manganese projects in Morocco and West Africa in support of the globally developing battery cell manufacturing industry. The region is quickly becoming a hub for battery manufacturing projects with LGES most recently discussing the prospects of building a lithium phosphate cell factory as it explores lithium-manganese-iron-phosphate (LMFP) as a new cell chemistry to commercialize.
