In the first 11 months of 2023, China’s solar cell output came to 53.1 GW according to the National Bureau of Statistics, bringing the annual total to 490 GW, up 56.2% year-on-year, with most of the acceleration having occurred in the first half of 2023 then stabilizing at around 50 GW. China installed 163.88 GW of solar power in the first 11 months of 2023, and we expect this to jump to 195 GW in December.
