The Chinese are back at it again with low cost industrial goods. This time we’re talking hydrogen pipelines, as construction has begun on the world’s longest hydrogen pipeline in China, spanning 700 km and costing $845 million. This project, led by Tangshan Haitai New Energy Technology in cooperation with China Petroleum Pipeline Engineering Corporation, aims to facilitate renewable hydrogen exports from a port near Beijing. Scheduled for completion in June 2027, the pipeline will run from Zhangjiakou to Caofeidian, passing through cities in the Hebei Province.
