America keeps trying to push nuclear as part of its core decarbonization strategy, with plans to increase its current capacity by 200 GW by 2050, on top of bringing fusion into the commercial discussion. The US Department of Energy (DOE) has unveiled a comprehensive strategy to accelerate the commercialization of fusion energy, emphasizing collaboration with the private sector.
