A recent survey commissioned by Steady Energy, a Finnish small modular reactor (SMR) developer revealed strong support for nuclear expansions in Finland. The survey was conducted among municipal decision-makers in Finland’s largest cities and both electricity generation and heating have been included in the discussion. Rethink Energy sees this as a prime opportunity to highlight the potential of nuclear and SMRs in the decarbonization of the heating sector with the Nordics countries suitable candidates.
