The 14th ICAO Air Navigation Conference concluded with global governments endorsing key actions to enhance aviation sustainability, safety, and efficiency. Out of these, the streamlining of bringing new designs from paper to commercial operation is absolutely key amidst an energy transition that requires new designs to gain momentum quickly in order for novel propulsion systems and fuels to stand a chance in front of kerosene, and even sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) for that matter.
