Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power (KHNP) and the Hydrogen Technology Platform (HYTEP) from the Czech Republic have signed an MoU to collaborate on hydrogen production, focusing on nuclear technology. The partnership will focus on nuclear-based hydrogen production and fuel cells, while also exchanging knowledge on hydrogen technologies and regulations. So far the North of Europe has taken center stage with marrying nuclear power to the low-carbon hydrogen sector, with utilities in Finland and Sweden revealing hydrogen initiatives. Even though only one of these refers to pink hydrogen, it makes us question what the future looks like for this particular type of hydrogen.
