Telco investor Patrick Drahi reportedly wants out of the telco game. He plans to sell various telco assets, and the next on the block is his controlling stake in Altice France – the investment firm that owns France’s second-largest operator SFR. Altice France’s latest earnings report has been brushed up to show a few small wins, but the losses in successive quarters cannot be rewritten, and new owners will be acquiring a telco in need of revival.
