UK Layer 1 specialist AccelerComm has won funding from the UK Space Agency to work with networking vendor Radisys on non-terrestrial networks (NTN). The pair will work in Radisys’ lab in India to build an integrated 5G product for satellite manufacturer and operator customers. The funding is part of the UK Space Agency’s International Bilateral Fund (IBF), which is designed to increase space sector research and development with the UK’s international allies. The various projects awarded funding by the IBF include partners in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, India, Japan, Lithuania, and the US.
