Starlink and AST SpaceMobile have dominated the headlines, even more than usual, in the last few months. The pair have announced direct-to-device (D2D) deals with VMO2 in the UK, Ukraine’s Kyivstar, and Saudi’s stc, among others. D2D deals with different satellite operators are also picking up steam.
