China Energy Engineering Group (CEEG) has signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with Moroccan renewables developer Gaia Energy for the construction of a green hydrogen and green ammonia plant that will export its products towards Europe using the Iberian Hydrogen Corridor that is passing through Spain, France and reaches Belgium, Netherlands and Germany. This is the second deal of its kind signed by CEEG in less than half a year – the first being about a green hydrogen project in Egypt.
