One source of resiliency for the telecoms sector, in the current pandemic crisis, is the urgent need for enhanced broadband infrastructure to support the abrupt shift of enterprises and daily life to remote, online processes. This is not just driving usage, but will improve the case for broadband to be considered as critical infrastructure, which would put it in pole position to claim new funding as part of government stimulus and recovery programs round the world.
