Until now, the telcos and their suppliers have focused on increasing the performance of their copper wire networks. Assia, one of those suppliers, has expanded into wireless, and developed technology that operators can use to improve the performance of residential Wi-Fi networks by up to 100% when streaming videos throughout the home. Assia is best known for software and services that maximize DSL broadband, but has now created software and a cloud-based service called Expresse Wi-Fi, which can maximize WLan performance in the home.
