BMW claims that its Neue Klasse electric vehicle (EV) platform set for release from 2025 will not only be the company’s trump card in modernizing the design of its product offerings, but also a catalyst that would see manufacturing costs fall by 25% due to further process automation. Shifting to EVs removes complicated components like engines with hundreds of parts.
