Veteran public WiFi operator Boingo Wireless is reported to be considering a sale of the company, possibly to a tower operator. According to anonymous Bloomberg sources, Boingo was approached by the would-be acquirer and is now exploring its options, and other potential offers, with the help of an advisor. It could attract interest from infrastructure firms or private equity investors.
