After launching its EVOGO battery swapping system for passenger cars, CATL has done what it does best and scaled up its battery swapping offerings with a commercial version suitable for battery electric trucks with up to 510 kWh of battery capacity it calls the Qiji Energy Solution. The system promises battery swapping times of less than 5 minutes for a full system change and takes from the company’s EVOGO system in that it provides flexibility to the number of batteries in the vehicle at a given time.
