April 1-14 saw China reach the historic position of 50.39% New Energy Vehicle (NEV) penetration following over 260,000 electric vehicle sales. Total vehicle sales were down 11% year-over-year (YoY) during the same period, but the short time period largely excuses this, while NEV sales increased 32% YoY and 2% month-over-month (MoM).
