The growing role of mobile networks for video distribution is well documented and the issues widely debated, but their increasing involvement in broadcast production has attracted less attention. That has to some extent been remedied by the global lockdowns which have put the spotlight on live streaming in production from the field over cellular networks, rather than the traditional satellite Outside Broadcast Vehicles (OBVs).
