Having recently completed its purchase of Sprint’s former prepaid division, Boost Mobile, Dish as now bought about 154,000 more mobile subscribers from Tucows, an ISP and technology company which operates the Ting Mobile service under an MVNO deal. More important than this fairly minor boost to Dish’s user base, is a mobile services enabler (MSE) agreement, which will see Dish move its whole MVNO operation to Tucow’s platform.
