Duke Energy CEO Lynn Good has a funny way of thinking about zero emissions. First off she includes natural gas as a resource for her zero emissions policy, secondly she expects to reach only 26% of capacity from renewables by 2050. This week she added to the plot standing up at a US conference and stating plainly that her company cannot reach its carbon-cutting goals without nuclear power.
