Ford has entered into a collaboration with Canadian hydrogen technology firm Ballard Power to create a fuel-cell electric vehicle (FCEV) iteration of its F-Max long-haul semi-truck. Ford plans to introduce these trucks into the European market. While Ford has previously revealed its intentions to produce fuel cell versions of its E-Transit van and Super Duty pick-up truck, the F-Max, initially launched in 2018, is set to become the largest FCEV under the Ford brand.
