Germany’s first dynamic bidding process for offshore wind zones has generated €12.6 billion in proceeds, according to the Federal Network Agency. The auction, which covered four areas with a combined capacity of 7 GW, entered the dynamic bidding stage after receiving several zero-subsidy bids. The winners of the tenders were bp OFW Management 1 GmbH for the N-11.1 zone, bp OFW Management 3 GmbH for the N-12.2 zone, North Sea OFW N12-1 GmbH & Co. KG for the N-12.1 area, and Baltic Sea OFW O2-2 GmbH & Co. KG for the O-2.2 area.
