The discussions at both the World Economic Forum and COP30 had an overemphasis on AI, yet overlooked the telecom sector, barely giving it a mention. This was a serious oversight as MNOs are central to both the global economy and climate action, but the MNOs have done a poor job advocating for themselves on this front.
