It isn’t, really, but there are plenty of people who wished it was. This is essentially what the Nuclear Energy Forum was all about at the G7 Summit 2023 in Sapporo, Japan. Of course, Germany didn’t take part in this as the country has officially pulled the plug on April 15th on the last couple of nuclear reactors that were still supplying the gird with electricity. But a declaration has been signed by the leaders of The World Nuclear Association, the Canadian Nuclear Association, Japan Atomic Industrial Forum, NuclearEurope, Nuclear Energy Institute of the USA and the UK’s and Nuclear Industry Association, in order to gain the support of governments around the globe and promote the future of nuclear energy.…
