Last Spring, Spain and Portugal experienced an unprecedented energy blackout that shut down all major infrastructure services, including communications. As part of its resilience planning, the Spanish government is now proposing that local telcos build mandatory emergency power systems to ensure connectivity for mobile sites. Irish startup, Klearcom provides customer call path testing globally, giving it a broad view of the communications market.
