The Linux Foundation has stepped up efforts to rally the open-source community to accelerate the development of more advanced mobile network capabilities, including various alliances. Among those is a new memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the Linux Foundation, as arbiter of global open-source projects and standards, and the Alliance for Telecommunications Industry Solutions (ATIS).
