Long gone is the Age of Sail in the global trade sector, or so we thought – the latest emerging trend within the maritime shipping industry is proving otherwise. According to the International Windship Association (IWSA), there are 37 wind propelled vessels in operation with 11 more being touted as wind-ready in addition to ten small traditionally rigged cruise vessels and numerous small sail cargo and fisheries vessels.
