Canada’s Nouveau Monde Graphite (NMG) has signed two significant raw material supply deals with Japan’s Panasonic and the US’ General Motors (GM), supplying each with 18,000 tons of anode active material (AAM) per annum once the company is producing at full capacity. In addition to the offtake agreements, both Panasonic and GM have committed to $150 million equity investments each into NMG which will help to provide the initial funding of its phase 1 and 2 production.
