Nokia has teamed up with China’s Lenovo to target AI inferencing around the edge closer to the point of use with services to help automate and connect servers more efficiently. The partners aim to combine Lenovo’s ThinkSystem AI-enabled portfolio of servers and storage with Nokia’s data center network portfolio, which includes data center fabric, IP routing and DDoS security offerings, and its event-driven automation platform. The focus then is on improving performance and efficiency of individual data centers comprising multiple servers.
