Nokia seems highly aware of the need for strategic partners from the IT and data center world, to help it with the process of transforming a mobile network into an applications and IT platform. Its alliance with Intel is crucial in this regard, and now it has expanded its relationship with HPE, with plans to co-market various Internet of Things products from next year.
